Fighting Irish jersey auction

Detroit Fighting Irish of the United States Premier Hockey League is holding a cancer jersey auction, which continues until the end of February.

The Fighting Irish is striving to raise funds, raise spirits and raise awareness towards the prevention of cancer.

This time around, the junior hockey team has partnered with the American Cancer Society and Miranda’s Army Foundation to assist the adolescent patients at CS Mott Children’s Hospital cancer ward and their families by, in the words of Fighting Irish general manager Dan Vasquez, “having a stay that is a little more pleasant.”
