Soo Reps take two more
A pair of road triumphs this weekend has raised the Soo Reps record to a rousing 11-0-1 within the pee wee major AA division of the Nickel District Minor Hockey League.
The first-place Reps began the weekend with a 5-0 win over the Copper Cliff Reds. Maxim Battocchio, Deago Campagna, Logan Dearing, Preston Miller and James Elliott scored for the Soo and Cash Rowswell netted the shutout.
A 4-2 win by the Soo over Copper Cliff finished the weekend whitewash. Battocchio, Campagna, Maeson Goulet and Nick Dearing tallied for the Soo in support of goalie Sebastien Brassard.
This group of kids define what a team should be all about and provide some great hockey to watch.
