10 new Flyers in Kap
Kapuskasing Flyers of the Great North Midget Hockey League have committed to 17 players — including 10 newcomers — for the 2017-2018 campaign.
New to the Flyers will be goalies Jaden Chouinard and Sebastien Plamondon, defenseman Ryan Maynard and forwards Nick Belisle, Dawson Linklater, Sam Vachon, Blane Boissoneault, Alexandre Lapointe, Alexandre Blais and Brendan Aubertin.
Returning to Kap from the Flyers outfit that finished a strong fourth in the seven-team Great North in 2016-2017 before advancing to the second round of the playoffs are forwards Jacob Comeau, Jared Dupuis, Martin Poisson and Mathieu Parent and defensemen Sylvain Gravel, Gabriel John-George and Cooper Roussy.
Flyers head coach Glen Denney and his assistants will round out the rest of the Kap roster at main camp in August.
