Timmins Majors will return to the friendly frame of McIntyre Arena on Thursday, albeit to face a formidable foe in the Kapuskasing Flyers.

After beginning the 2019-2020 Great North Midget Hockey League regular season with an 0-4-2 record, the Majors have since rebounded to go 6-3-0 over their last nine outings for an overall mark of 6-7-2.

The Flyers, meanwhile, are in a first place tie with the Soo Jr. Greyhounds. Kapuskasing has a record of 10-4-1 and has played one more game than the Soo, which has a 10-3-1 mark.

Thursday’s game between the Flyers and Majors is slated to begin at 8 p.m. at McIntyre Arena in Timmins.

The two teams have met once so far this regular season with the Flyers cuffing the Majors 8-3 back on November 9 in Kapuskasing.
