Soo midgets sweep Sudbury
It’s on to the second round of the Great North Midget Hockey League playoffs for the Soo Greyhounds following a relatively-easy, first-round sweep.
The third-seeded Greyhounds had little difficulty with the sixth-ranked Sudbury Wolves on the weekend, upending the minor midget squad by 6-1 and 4-0 scores.
A pair of defensemen scored multiple goals for the Soo in its two-game sweep. Kelly Quevillon scored three times from his defensive spot and Bradon Caruso tallied twice.
Ryan Cook had the shutout in the whitewash triumph.
