Once down two games to none in the best-of-seven, Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League West Division final, the Eagles narrowed the gap with a 5-0, Game 3 triumph as Palmerio scored three goals, Trecroce had four assists and Kade Phipps posted the shutout.

Still trailing the series but now by a 2-1 margin, the Eagles will play host to the Beavers in Game 4 tonight, a 7:30 match at Pullar Stadium in the Michigan Soo.

The eventual winner of the series will face Powassan Voodoos for the NOJHL championship.

Powassan has swept through the East Division playoffs with eight straight wins, blowing past the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners and Timmins Rock.
