French River gets a new guy

Hulking forward Kaden Hintz has been dealt by the Cochrane Crunch to the French River Rapids in a Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League trade just completed.

French River president-general manager Jessy Landry confirmed to HockeyNewsNorth.com that the Rapids have acquired the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Hintz from Cochrane in a cash exchange.

Hintz, who has a 1996 birth date, played in just 15 games at the NOJHL level for Cochrane in 2015-2016 and produced 3 goals, 4 assists, 7 points.
