NOJHL at the Gardens
GFL Memorial Gardens will be the site of a Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League exhibition game this Saturday afternoon.
In what will be a neutral site match, the Michigan-based Soo Eagles will take on the Elliot Lake Wildcats on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Gardens in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
Interestingly, both teams have signed rookie skaters from Sault, Ontario ahead of the upcoming NOJHL regular season.
The Eagles have inked forward Jacob Bumbacco while Elliot Lake has committed to forward Nick Jameus and defenseman Jordan Ritchie.
