Don’t look now but coach Corey Beer and the Timmins Rock are on a roll in the East Division of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.

Rookie forward Riley Brousseau scored the only goal of the game tonight as the Rock rolled to its fifth straight win with a 1-0 road triumph over the Elliot Lake Wildcats. The goal was Brousseau’s third of the season.

A local product with a 2001 birth date, Brousseau skated for the Timmins Majors of the Great North Midget Hockey League last season.

As for the Timmins NOJHLers, they are solid as a Rock in third place in the NOJHL East with a record of 9-4-1 as they keep pace with the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners and Powassan Voodoos.
