Time to Pullar together
Soo Eagles and Elliot Lake Wildcats will decide their best-of-three, preliminary round, Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League playoff series tonight.
The third and deciding game is slated to begin at 7 p.m. at Pullar Stadium in the Michigan Soo.
Home ice has determined both games to date with the Eagles winning the series opener by a 4-1 score and the Wildcats rebounding to even the set with a 4-3 overtime victory.
The winner of tonight’s game will move on to the main round of the playoffs to face the Soo Thunderbirds in a best-of-seven series.

The CCHL tried this best-of-three format once, and they didn’t use it again. I actually think it’s a better way to add more playoff teams.
