Want to play for Timmins?
Looking to play junior hockey in a northern Ontario hotbed? Well, the Timmins Rock of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League is about to play host to a tryout camp.
Whitby, Ont. will be the site for a spring prospects evaluation tryout camp that will be staged by the Rock.
The camp is slated for the June 3-4 weekend at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby, just outside Oshawa, and will feature four hours of ice time via intra-squad games.
Players with 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 birth dates looking to play in the NOJHL for Timmins are invited to attend. Cost to attend the camp is $175, which includes all taxes.
The June 3-4 camp is preparatory to the Rock main camp which will be held in August in Timmins.

The Rock is coming off a 2016-2017 season in which it finished third in the NOJHL East Division and won a round of the playoffs while leading the 12-team league in attendance with a per-game average of 791.
