Sault Ste. Marie’s Camaryn Baber is one of 33 players taking part in the Ontario Hockey League prospect camp of the Saginaw Spirit.

The weekend camp, being held in Saginaw, features Spirit draft picks from 2016 and 2017 plus a few free-agent invitees.

Baber, a 2001 birth-year forward, was selected by Saginaw in the third round of the 2017 OHL draft from the Soo Greyhounds of the Great North Midget Hockey League.

The youngster made such an impact over the course of the 2016-2017 season that he was named Northern Ontario Hockey Association minor midget player-of-the-year.
