Jordan Smith to Hounds

Sault Ste. Marie native Jordan Smith is moving on from the Sudbury Wolves after one season as associate coach for a job with the Soo Greyhounds, Hockey News North has learned.

The 32-year old Smith, who played his entire four-year Ontario Hockey League career as a defenseman with the Greyhounds, will join his old team as associate coach, sources with knowledge of the situation told Hockey News North.

Smith will join the staff of recently-hired head coach John Dean.

Prior to being hired by the OHL Wolves last season, Smith coached the Soo Thunderbirds of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.
