Rayside-Balfour Canadians of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League have traded the rights of 2000 birth-year goalie Cameron Lamour to the Chatham Maroons of the Greater Ontario Jr. Hockey League. Lamour was a third-round pick of the Saginaw Spirit at the 2016 Ontario Hockey League draft.

Lamour posted a record of 7-13-0 with a 3.57 goals against average and .888 save percentage with Rayside-Balfour during the 2016-2017 NOJHL season. The slender tender also made his OHL debut with Saginaw as a 16-year old rookie and fashioned a 1-2-0 record with a 2.21 goals against average and .901 save percentage.

Lamour is one of three goalies with OHL experience on the Saginaw roster at present. The others are overage starter Evan Cormier and 1999 birth-year returnee Brendan Bonello.
