Wolves boast 3 NHL captains
Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League not only help to produce their share of players for the National Hockey League but they are developing captain material as well.
As Wolves vice president of marketing Andrew Dale pointed out, no less than three former Wolves are now captains of their respective NHL teams — Derek MacKenzie of the Florida Panthers, Mike Fisher of the Nashville Predators and Nick Foligno of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The three Wolves-grads-turned-NHL-captains are now featured on the back of the newly-branded Sudbury team bus.
