U15 Hounds take 2 of 3
Scoring leader Gavyn Nevers capped a winning weekend for the Soo Jr. Greyhounds of the Northern Ontario Hockey Association at the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario’s Under 15 AAA Face Off to the ’25-26 regular season that concluded today.

Nevers tallied once and had two assists as the U15 Hounds blanked the win-less Huron-Perth Lakers by a 7-0 score. The U15 Hounds won two of three games this weekend and Nevers figured in on six of their 11 goals with three goals and three assists. In all, the U15 Hounds outscored the opposition 11-2 in the three games.
Besides Nevers, five other U15 Hounds had goals today. Haydon Eby scored twice and Nevers, Hayden Brason-Doan, Matti Lappalainen, Lukas Maninos and Jayden Fisher-Ruck all had one goal each while the team defense limited Huron-Perth to a handful of shots.
The U15 AAA Hounds of the NOHA and the 11 teams of Alliance Hockey were all part of the regular season opening event this weekend at the Central Park Athletics Complex in Windsor.
