Pair of Paper King transactions
As homegrown forward Lucas Dubois will look for a reset in the Provincial Jr. C Hockey League the Espanola Paper Kings of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League have added forward Luc Warner from the Ontario Jr. Hockey League.
After honouring the trade request of local Espanola product Dubois and dealing him to the Penetang Kings of the PJCHL, the Paper Kings subsequently acquired Warner from the Aurora Tigers of the OJHL. Dubois has a 2007 birth date while Warner was born in 2006.
Dubois had two goals, two assists, four points in 13 NOJHL games with Espanola this season. In total, Dubois suited up in 47 games for the Paper Kings over parts of three seasons and produced eight goals, six assists, 14 points.
As for Warner, after scoring seven goals in 45 OJHL games with Aurora in ’24-25, he had one goal, two assists, three points in eight outings with the Tigers this season.
