Hounds take two in London
Road Dogs! Soo Greyhounds are back home with a two games to none lead on the London Knights in their opening round Ontario Hockey League playoff series.
The Greyhounds skated into London on the weekend and took two games from the Knights. Games 3 and 4 in the best of seven Western Conference series are set for Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
Greyhounds 4, Knights 1. Jeremy Martin scored twice, Marco Mignosa and Lukas Fischer tallied one apiece and Brady Martin had three assists to lead the Hounds offensively. Meanwhile, Carter George — formerly of the Owen Sound Attack — made 23 saves for his first OHL playoff win.
Greyhounds 3, Knights 2. Brady Martin scored in overtime to cap regulation time goals from Marco Mignosa and Chase Reid to lift the Hounds to victory. The visiting Hounds outshot the Knights 43-34.

Those 2 games were probably the Hounds best efforts for the last 2 months.
I hope we get better officiating here in the Soo.
