BR goalie off to D3 school
Graduated Blind River Beavers goalie Justin Sullivan has committed to Southern New Hampshire University for the ’26-27 season. SNHU is a Division 3, National Collegiate Athletic Association school.

Hailing from New Richmond, Quebec, Sullivan — who has a 2005 birth date — saw the second most minutes of game action in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League during the ’25-26 regular season with 1,875.
“Sully gave us chance to win every night he played and we have no doubt he will have success at NCAA level as well,” Beavers’ head coach and general manager Kyle Brick said of Sullivan.
Located in Manchester, NH, the SNHU Penmen compete in the six school Northeast 10 Conference of the D3 NCAA.
Notably, Sullivan becomes the third NOJHL player to commit to SNHU for the ’26-27 season, joining forwards Nolan Nemecek and Ethan Hoff from the Soo Eagles.
