Upstate NY via Espanola
Graduated Espanola Paper Kings forward Jason Galante has committed to attend Morrisville State University ahead of the ’26-27 season. Located in upstate New York, Morrisville is a Division 3 National Collegiate Athletic Association school.
Hailing from Buffalo, New York, Galante spent the past two seasons skating in the NOJHL with Espanola where he played in 85 games, playoffs included, and produced 25 goals, assists, 50 points.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity and my time in Espanola, to play in the NOJHL,” said Galante, who has a 2006 birth date. “I am especially grateful for everyone in the Paper Kings organization, as well as my billet family, for making it my second home in helping prepare me for my collegiate journey.”
Paper Kings head coach Jason Rapcewiz noted the contributions of Galante by stating that “we thank Jason for his contributions with us over the past two years and look forward to following his progress at the NCAA level.”
Morrisville State competes in the State University of New York (SUNY) Athletic Conference.
