BioSteel captain Josh Jameus
Sault Ste. Marie product Josh Jameus has gone from an often overlooked and ignored spare part forward in his hometown to being named the captain of AAA Under 16 level BioSteel Sports Academy. BioSteel is based in Windsor, Ontario.
Just one of many players who have become disenchanted with the blatant favouritism and corruption shown by various AAA and AA programs in the Soo, Jameus — who has a 2011 birth date — bolted his hometown for Barrie last season before being recruited by BioSteel to play in Windsor this season.
While in the Soo and playing for head coaches such as Cole Jarrett, Jameus often found himself on the outside looking in. But that was then and this is now. And now has Jameus being chosen as the captain of the U16 AAA BioSteel team of Windsor.
Take a bow, Josh. Take a bow.
