Wolves have coach vacancy

Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League are on the look for a new associate coach following the departure of Drake Berehowsky to the Orlando Solar Bears of the East Coast Hockey League.

Berehowsky heads to Orlando to be its head coach.

Wolves general manager Barclay Branch told HockeyNewsNorth.com that the process to replace Berehowsky has begun.

“We have identified the type of coach who we are looking for to replace Drake,” Branch said via telephone interview. “We are currently involved in numerous discussions to replace Drake.”

Branch added that until a new associate coach is hired, the Wolves will operate with the existing staff that includes head coach David Matsos and assistant coach Darryl Moxam.

  1. NBT1975, you’re kidding right? Three wins in 76 games! Read the previous article that Randy wrote. Maybe go after Hewitt. Look at his record in Elliot Lake the last two seasons. Just saying
