Rossetto helps Steel a title
Sault Ste. Marie spark plug Brett Rossetto played a starring role in the Hamilton Steel stunning the favoured — and host — Toronto Jr. Canadiens in the under 15 level championship game of the recent Tyler Cragg AAA Memorial Hockey Tournament.

Rossetto, who moved from the Sault to Hamilton ahead of this ’25-26 season to further his hockey development, was a difference maker for the Steel with three assists in the 5-3 title tilt triumph over the powerhouse Jr. Canadiens.
In all, Rossetto — who is the younger brother of Nik Rossetto, a currently injured second year forward with the Brantford Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League — had two goals, five assists, seven points in six games for Hamilton, which won five straight contests after losing the opening match of the tournament.
Included in the five wins for the Steel was a 4-2 come from behind victory over Rossetto’s former team, the Soo Jr. Greyhounds. In that win, Hamilton erased a 2-1 third period deficit with three unanswered goals to upend the Jr. Greyhounds.
