A first for Cam Boville
Homegrown goalie Cam Boville made 25 saves for his first Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League shutout to back stop the Soo Thunderbirds to a 7-0 Friday night road verdict over the Espanola Paper Kings.
The 6 foot 1, 195 pound Boville, who has a 2006 birth date, improved his record for the ’25-26 season to 5-3-0 with a .904 save percentage and 3.01 goals against average. Boville, who played junior hockey in Chicago in ’24-25, is part of a three goalie system with the Thunderbirds.
