Timmins Rock leads the way
Timmins Rock not only sits atop the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League attendance chart but it currently has the best winning percentage among the 11 teams.
Riding the crest of 14 straight victories, the Rock has a lofty winning percentage of .788 from a record of 20-5-1. And at the gate, the Rock leads all NOJHL teams with an average per game attendance of 718.
To be sure, the winning ways — and the fan support — is much appreciated by Rock president Ted Gooch.

“I am extremely proud of what this group has accomplished. A 14 game winning streak, the best winning percentage in the league, and leading the NOJHL in attendance all speak to the work ethic and character of our players. It also reflects the incredible support from our fans — the atmosphere they create every night is a difference maker,” Gooch relayed to Hockey News North.
Gooch also issued words of praise to his coaching staff.
“I have complete trust in our head coach Brandon Perry and his coaching staff. Their preparation, leadership, and belief in this team set the tone for our success, and the players have fully bought in. We’re excited to keep building and pushing forward,” said Gooch.

I have to say Mr Gooch and his executive run a very good ship this translates to what is happening on the ice.
