It will be Erie v. Mississauga
The finalists for the Ontario Hockey League championship series have been finalized. Erie Otters ousted the Owen Sound Attack today to cap a Western Conference series comeback.
The Otters overwhelmed the Attack 7-2 this afternoon to take the best-of-seven playoff set 4-2. It was Erie’s third straight win after having fallen behind two games to one.
Garden River First Nation product Owen Headrick had an assist for Erie in today’s triumph. The 1997 birth-year defender totaled three assists in Erie’s last two wins over Owen Sound.
Erie will face the Eastern Conference champion Mississauga Steelheads for the OHL crown.
