Another D1 commit for JDM

Luke Weildant has become the 69th player in less than five years to commit to a Division 1, National Collegiate Athletic Association school via family advisor David Maciuk and JDM Sports.

Weilandt, a forward with a 2002 birth date, has committed to the Merrimack College Warriors, Hockey News North has confirmed.

Currently a rookie with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League, Weilandt played two previous seasons with the AAA midget Chicago Mission.

He is also considered as a prospect for the 2020 National Hockey League draft and is known for his hockey sense, vision and powerful snap shot.
