Aurora’s bring home a championship

Aurora’s pee wee major hockey team from Sault Ste. Marie recently returned from Detroit as champions of the Motown Cup Tournament.

Aurora’s won all four games played, including the title tilt.

Mark Keenan of Aurora’s was named most valuable player of the tournament.

Members of the Aurora’s title team are coaches Toots Kovacs, Ron Fiacconi, John Martin and Brad Rennison, trainer Mike Fortin and players Carsten Moffatt, Jaden Grenier, Jackson Martin, Robert Guzzo, Nicholas Pagnotta, Tristan Brown, Ryan Fiacconi, Mark Keenan, Daniel Calvano, Nathan Wilding, Daemon Bugyra, Nathan Fortin, Ryan Guindon, Caden Caputo.

  1. Thanks for the plug Randy. It is such a pleasure to coach this bunch. They keep me young. The weekend they won the tournament in Detroit, I was away visiting my son. Coach John, Ron, Trainer Mike and Manager Carolyn did a fantastic job.
