A look at the re-aligned NAHL
The tier 2 junior North American Hockey League will operate with 22 teams in 2015-2016, including four in the new East Division.
Down two teams from 2014-2015, the NAHL will be divided into four divisions in 2015-2016 — Central, East, Midwest and South — spanning 10 states.
The four-team East Division will include three new locations — Aston Rebels, New Jersey Titans and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights — that will join the holdover Johnstown Tomahawks.
The division set-up is as follows.
Central Division: Aberdeen Wings, Austin Bruins, Bismarck Bobcats, Brookings Blizzard, Minnesota Magicians and Minot Minotauros.
East Division: Aston Rebels, Johnstown Tomahawks, New Jersey Titans and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights.
Midwest Division: Coulee Region Chill, Fairbanks Ice Dogs, Janesville Jets, Kenai River Brown Bears, Minnesota Wilderness and Springfield Jr. Blues.
