Two special editions of the Hockey North Show on radio station Eagle 95.1 http://eagleradio951.com will air as a way of “catching up” on what has been a busy junior hockey off season. The special edition, half hour shows will air this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. and next Tuesday, June 29 at 3:00 p.m.

In the wake of the COVID-19 affected 2020-2021 season, there has been considerable activity in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League with player signings and trades as well as ownership and franchise change. And in the Ontario Hockey League, two player drafts have been held recently and there have also been coaching changes.

Thus, today at 3:00 p.m. and next Tuesday, also at 3:00 p.m., I will recap much of what has transpired in the junior hockey areas of the NOJHL and OHL. Of note, if you can’t listen in live, both shows will be recorded and be available for replay on the Eagle Radio website.
