Freshman goalie Camden Labadie made 31 saves to backstop the Sault High Blue Devils to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Petoskey Northmen.

Friday night’s win for the Blue Devils improves their record on the Michigan high school hockey season to 3-4.

Labadie was at his best in the final minute of the third period when he made two key saves for Sault High to preserve the win after Petoskey had pulled its goalie for an extra skater.

Aaron Kogan had both goals for the Blue Devils, who are home again today to the Alpena Wildcats in a 2:00 p.m. start at Big Bear Arena in the Michigan Sault.

The game will be broadcast live on Eagle Radio 95.1, on line via http://EagleRadio951.com, with Tim Ellis and Clayton Ellis voicing the play by play and colour commentary.
