Just back from Hockeytown
Hi all.
In case you were wondering where I have been the past few days — I did receive a number of messages asking why no fresh material had been posted — I was on the road in Hockeytown.
Hockeytown, Detroit that is.
And while the purpose of the trip to Detroit was to watch Tiger baseball — and yes, my favourite pro sports team roughed up the Minnesota Twins on a sun-splashed Thursday afternoon — I did engage in considerable hockey talk.
That is because, in addition to enjoying some very good company with family and friends, I met up with three junior hockey people who live in the Detroit area, namely players Jacob Hernandez and George Hill and coach Dan Vasquez.
At any rate, I am back to work on Saturday.
Sounds like Randy was keeping some ‘bad company’ and that would be Coach Dan ha ha just joking.
