Lady Cougars are champs!

Sault College Cougars put the exclamation point on an undefeated women’s hockey season today with a 6-1 triumph over Northeastern University.

The win gave the Lady Cougars the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s Division 2 national championship. In all, the Sault College women roared to a record of 31-0 this season.

Local product Brooke Brazeau, a rookie forward with the Sault College Cougars, shows off the ACHA women’s national championship trophy.
