Lambert and U16 AAA Hounds
Sault Major Hockey Association has confirmed that it intends to have an Under 16 AAA team next season that would — if officially approved by the Northern Ontario Hockey Association — be members of the Great North Under 18 Hockey League.
This comes with Sault Major announcing today that Denny Lambert will be the head coach of the Under 16 Soo Jr. Greyhounds for the 2024-2025 season. Lambert is currently coaching the Under 18 Jr. Greyhounds of the Great North U18 HL.
In the best scenario, the Soo would once again have two teams in the Great North next season — both a U16 and U18 team.
