Goalie Cam Ingram, who hails from the Sault Ste. Marie area farming town of Echo Bay, is spending the ’24-25 season with the Halton Hurricanes of the AAA Under 18 Ontario Minor Hockey Association. The 6 foot, 185 pound Ingram, who has a November 7, 2008 birth date, was picked by the Windsor Spitfires in the 13th round of the 2024 Ontario Hockey League priority selections draft.

It didn’t take Ingram long to show his net worth for Halton as he picked up a shutout in just his second regular season outing of the ’24-25 campaign for the Hurricanes. Notably, Ingram has also signed with the Georgetown Raiders of the Ontario Jr. Hockey League as an affiliate player.

After tending twine as a young lad for the North Channel Lightning, Ingram played at the Under 14 and Under 15 AAA levels in the Sault before joining the Under 16 Toronto Jr. Canadiens of the Greater Toronto Hockey League in ’23-24. It was his play with the U16 Jr. Canadiens in the GTHL that led to Ingram becoming a draft pick by the OHL Spitfires.
