NOHL pee wee major series tied
Sudbury Wolves have forced a fifth-and-deciding game in their best-of-five, Northern Ontario AAA Hockey League pee wee major division playoff series with the Soo Greyhounds.
The Wolves won back-to-back road games at the Soo this weekend, winning a 5-4 overtime thriller on Saturday and scoring a dramatic 4-3 double-overtime decision today.
Road victories have been the story of the series thus far as the Greyhounds opened the playoff set with 5-4 and 8-4 triumphs at Sudbury last weekend.
The Soo finished in third place in the NOHL pee wee major division during the regular season while Sudbury placed second behind the top-seeded Nickel City Sons.
