Novice major A champs
Lions Club won the novice major A gold medal today with a 4-0 triumph over Avery Construction in an all-Sault Ste. Marie final as part of the multi-division, Soo Pee Wee Hockey Extravaganza Tournament.
Preston Miller led Lions Club to its championship-game victory with two goals.
Lucas DiBerardino and Topher Barsanti tallied one goal apiece for the winners in support of the shutout goal-tending of Carter Nadon.
