Pee wee minor d-men can score too
Not only did the first-place Soo Greyhounds feature eight of the top 10 scorers during the Northern Ontario AAA Hockey League pee wee minor division regular season but their defensemen produced top point totals as well.
In fact, three of the top four scoring defensemen in the NOHL pee wee minor division were from the Greyhounds.
Bryan Fenlon of the Greyhound pee wee minors led all NOHL defenders in scoring with 2 goals, 12 assists, 14 points followed by Adam Barone with 4-9-13 totals. And Michael Beltrano of the Soo was fourth in the league among blue-liners with 2-7-9 totals.
