Devin Mauro lit the lamp three times as the Soo Jr. Greyhounds skated to a 7-1 decision over the Nickel City Sons on Sunday to bring home the Northern Ontario AAA Hockey League pee wee minor championship.

Regular-season scoring champion Tyson Doucette chipped in with a pair of goals for the Jr. Greyhounds who got single tallies from Christian Omollo and Ashton Lemieux to win the best-of-five series three games to one.

Nickel City had extended the series to Sunday’s Game 4 by virtue of a one-goal win on Saturday.
