Roar of the Cougars
Playing with a shortened lineup due to injuries did not deter the Sault College Cougars from earning a weekend split of American Collegiate Hockey Association games with the big campus Michigan State Spartans.
After beginning the weekend home set with a 6-4 loss to Michigan State, Sault College rebounded with a 5-4 win over the Spartans. A goal by Gregory Trudeau-Paquet with 50 seconds to play in the third period gave the Cougars the win and improved their record to 10-12-1 on the season.

Very solid effort both games against a very physical and talented team. With 13 skaters and 2 goalies the entire roster played their hearts out and that bodes well for us building our National Championship roster for next season. Very proud of these guys and our staff.
