Rob Mazzuca re-elected
The Canadian Jr. Hockey League recently concluded its annual general meeting in Calgary. Among major items of business, Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League commissioner Rob Mazzuca was re-elected as the chair of the board of the Canada wide CJHL.

Meanwhile, the CJHL member leagues, including the NOJHL, unanimously passed a motion to adopt a national CJHL Code of Conduct and Maltreatment Policy, developed in partnership with Hockey Canada.
The landmark policy aims to ensure the highest standards of safety, respect, and accountability across all CJHL member leagues.
In furthering its commitment to player welfare, the CJHL member leagues in attendance unanimously approved a motion to form a committee tasked with developing minimum operating standards. The initiative will aim to focus on creating a consistent and athlete first framework across all CJHL leagues, ensuring every player and staff member receives high quality development, support, and care.
“These decisions represent a critical step forward for the CJHL,” relayed the aforementioned Rob Mazzuca. “We are united in our vision to not only lead in competition, but also in the integrity, development, and safety of the athletes who wear our jerseys.”
