RR Rangers win Silver Stick
Sudbury was the site for a regional portion of the International Silver Stick Hockey Tournament on the weekend and the Root River Rangers of Sault Ste. Marie returned home with a championship banner.
Root River won the AA midget division at the big event that also included multiple teams competing at the novice, atom, pee wee and bantam levels.
Members of the Rangers include:
Players: Mackenzie Ableson, Cole Ambeault, Colby Arbour, Jacob Bumbacco, Cole Delarosbil, Jacob Doucette, Camden Findlay, Josh Gavey, Caden King, Jonathan Mackin, Carter Magee, Jordan Ritchie, Kurtis Rogers, Liam St. Louis, Nick Trunzo, Andrew Uschenko.
Staff: Rob Barsanti, Laine Bertin, Michael Gagnon and Jason Rooley.
