Sault College teams at home
For the first time since the onset of the Covid pandemic the men’s and women’s hockey teams at Sault College will both have home games on the same weekend.
The Cougar women will play host to Assiniboine Community College this Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Rankin Arena. Coach Brianne Veale and her Cougars are unbeaten thus far this season with a record of 14-0-0.
Meanwhile, coach Mike Hall and the Sault College men will play host to the Lake Superior State University Lakers on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. with both matches slated for Rankin Arena. The Cougar men will be looking to improve on their 5-9-0 record.
Both Sault College teams are members of the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
