Two high-end forwards who were viewed as potential first-round selections at Saturday’s Ontario Hockey League draft have committed to USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program for the 2014-2015 season.

The pair are Max Jones and Nick Pastujov, who both skated for the Detroit HoneyBaked major midget team during the 2013-2014 season.

Soo Greyhounds, who hold the 17th pick in the first round of Saturday’s draft, had reportedly shown interest in both Jones and Pastujov through their Michigan-based scout, Bill Warren.
