Sault Ste. Marie product Cam Boville has joined the Chicago Cougars of the junior level United States Premier Hockey League for the balance of this season. The 2006 birth year goalie had been inactive since late October after being waived by the Elliot Lake Vikings of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.
Boville, who stands in at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, was part of a three goalie rotation in Elliot Lake as an NOJHL rookie. He had respectable totals with the last place Vikings — a 1-3-0 record with an .888 save percentage and 4.99 goals against average.
Elliott Lake is in last place in the West Division of the NOJHL. Through 35 games, the Vikings have a record of 5-25-5.
