Phoenix to Collingwood
Collingwood Ice of the new Canadian International Hockey League has signed a pair of American-born skaters, the team’s general manager has confirmed to HockeyNewsNorth.com.
Collingwood owner-GM Tim Dickieson said the Ice has inked burly defenceman Connor Hetzel and Jake Bayer, a speedy forward.
Both are 1995 birth-year players and both are products of the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes AAA program, said Dickieson.
