Batchewana Attack of the new Canadian International Hockey League has committed roster spots to twin brothers Darian and Drake Pilon for the 2014-2015 season.

The brothers are 1998 birth-year forwards who played for the Soo Source For Sports AA midgets in 2013-2014 and were 1-2 in team scoring.

Darian, who is 5-foot-10, 165 pounds and shoots left, led Soo Source For Sports with 30 goals, 30 assists, 60 points in 36 games.

Drake, who is 5-foot-10, 175 pounds and shoots right, had 28 goals, 31 assists, 59 points in 33 games.

The brothers stood out at Batchewana’s recent tryout camp, said Attack general manager Dennis Bolton.

“Both play with an edge and will exemplify the hard work and determination we will demand from our players under (head coach) Denny Lambert,” Bolton told HockeyNewsNorth.com.

The addition of the Pilons brings to 15 the number of players who have committed to the Attack for its inaugural CIHL season.

The 15 players includes eight forwards, five defencemen and two goalies.
