Make that five more player signings for the St. Charles Spirit of the new Canadian International Hockey League.

Just after confirming that he had committed to 1994 birth-year centre Ben Miller — formerly of the Abitibi Eskimos of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League — St. Charles general manager Scott Ginson has told HockeyNewsNorth.com that five more forwards have signed with the CIHL team.

The five are as follows.

Dallas Miller. A 1997 birth-year centre, Miller played for the Blind River Beavers of the NOJHL in 2013-2014. Miller is a former sixth-round draft pick of the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League.

A.J. O’Dell. A 1996 birth-year centre, O’Dell heads to St. Charles from the Omaha Junior Lancers high school team, where he was rookie-of-the-year in 2013-2014.

Jonas Rupert. A “meat-and-potatoes” style player, the 1995 birth year winger played with the Mattawa Voyageurs of the Greater Metro Hockey League in 2013-2014.

Dustin Gauvreau. A 1996 birth-year left winger, the hard-nosed Gauvreau skated for the New Liskeard Cubs of the Great North Midget Hockey League in 2013-2014.

Lukas Woolridge. The surprise of the recent St. Charles tryout camp, the hard-toiling Woolridge played for the Nickel City Sons AA midgets in 2013-2014.
