Knights to Attack
Jesse Delavalle, a 6-foot-3, 195 pound, 1996 birth-year forward, has committed to play for the Batchewana Attack of the new Canadian International Hockey League for the 2014-2015 season.
Delavalle had 12 goals, 8 assists, 20 points in 22 games for the Sault Ste. Marie high school hockey champion St. Mary’s Knights in 2013-2014.
“He has good hands and lots of potential,” Batchewana general manager Dennis Bolton said of Delavalle, who becomes the 16th player — nine forwards, five defencemen, two goalies — to commit to the Attack.
Batchewana is part of the eight-team, Ontario-based, junior-level, CIHL that will debut this 2014-2015 season.
The Batchewana entry will play its home games at Rankin Arena in Sault Ste. Marie.
