Dylan, Dylan, Jr. Hounds

Soo Jr. Greyhounds returned home today from a tougher than tough road trip to Sudbury and North Bay which had them play four Great North Midget Hockey League games in a three-day span.

And the Jr. Greyhounds were able to respond with a 2-1-1 record, good for five points, from the rugged road swing. The weekend showing boosted the Soo’s record to 12-4-2 and kept it in first place atop the standings in the Great North with 26 points.

A couple of forwards named Dylan had productive weekend showings for the Jr. Hounds.

Dylan Forsyth netted three goals, four assists, seven points and Dylan Szabo put up four goals, two assists, six points.

Forsyth now has eight goals, nine assists, 17 points on the season while Szabo has six goals, six assists, 12 points.

The Jr. Hounds are home for three games next weekend as the New Liskeard Cubs head to the Soo for Friday (8:00 p.m.), Saturday (12:30 p.m.) and Sunday (11 a.m.) matches at John Rhodes Community Center.
